Free legal assistance to eligible seniors age 60 and older. Operates on a donation basis.

The Alzheimer's Association – 1 (800) 660-1993
The Alzheimer's Association Safe Return program is the only nationwide system designed to help identify individuals who are memory impaired due to Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder.

Meals on Wheels - (760) 245-7047
Meals on Wheels serves lunches for $3.00 for 60 years of age and over and $5.00 for 59 years of age and under. Meals are served at the Percy Bakker Community Center, Monday through Friday at 11:15 a.m. For more information on the Meals on Wheels Program, call the Victorville Office at 245-7047.

Training program for income eligible participants age 55 or older.

Local curb-to-curb transportation service for the certified disabled (ADA) and frail elderly.



SENIOR Wii

Come try your hand at putting on the digital green, no contact boxing, or pitching a remote controlled baseball. Now available at the Percy Bakker Community Center: the hit Nintendo Wii system and game Wii Sports! Seniors can play golf, tennis, go bowling, and more using this high-tech and exciting game system! The system is available Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Come experience these sports at the Percy Bakker Community Center, located at 9333 E Avenue in Hesperia. Thanks to the San Bernardino County Department of Aging for their donation of this equipment. For more information, please call (760) 244-5488.

MEALS ON WHEELS

Meals on Wheels serves lunches for seniors 60 years of age and over for a donation of $3.00 and 59 years and younger for a donation or $5.00 (no age limit) Monday through Friday at 11:15 a.m. For more information on the Meals on Wheels Program, call the Victorville Office at 245-7047.


 SENIOR PINOCHLE

Every Wednesday seniors are invited to enjoy the fun of Pinochle.

 SENIOR BRIDGE

Seniors are invited to enjoy the fun of the card game Bridge two days a week.

  • TIME: 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • PLACE: Percy Bakker Community Center for Senior Activities
  • FEE: Free

 SENIOR BUNCO

Every Monday afternoon seniors are invited to enjoy the fun of Bunco. Our volunteer will instruct you on the game if you have never played before. Awards are presented at the conclusion of the day's play.

 FITNESS AND FUN EXERCISE CLASS

This program is great for senior adults who want to get into shape. Seniors can improve balance, posture and coordination while enjoying this low impact aerobics class. Come meet new friends, enjoy good music and have fun!

 YOGA FOR LIFE

This class offers a journey toward a calm mind and will help create flexibility and mobility in achieving strength. It will also help students learn to relax and to move toward a healthier, happier life. Please bring a yoga mat or a large towel to class.

  • TIME: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • PLACE: Lime Street Park Community Center
  • FEE: $25.00 per month for 1 class per week or $40.00 per month for 2 classes per week
