Hesperia Lake Park is a great place, for a family outing and picnic. Individual picnic sites are available at no charge to Hesperia residents. Each site has a picnic table. The picnic area also offers a playground for the children. Group sites are available for a reasonable fee and reservations need to be made in advance. Groups of 25 or more people must have a reservation.

Join us in
September for three days of fun and
entertainment. The weekend events will kick off on Friday
at Lime Street Park with a Championship Gymkhana, Saturday’s activities begin with
the annual parade, brought to you by the
Hesperia Kiwanis Club on Main Street followed by vendors,
game booths, entertainment, Blue Grass music and fireworks
at Hesperia Lake Park. On Sunday, the Blue Grass music
and vendors will continue at Hesperia Lake Park.

| TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY |

Please join us as we celebrate this holiday season with an array of colorful lights in a miniature forest at the Old School House. We are able to hold our Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on the corner of “C” Avenue and Main Street. This year’s program will include entertainment, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus. This event is free to the community.

Rodeo 2008 at Val Shearer Equestrian Center Lime Street Park, 16292 Lime Street, Hesperia, California. Food and Specialty Vendors will be on the rodeo grounds. Pre-sale tickets may be purchased online, also at Lime Street Park Community Center, Hesperia and Phelan Veterinary Supply, J & K Feed, Victorville Boot Barn, Hesperia Chamber of Commerce, Cal Herbold’s Nursery, Hesperia and Apple Valley Feed Bin and Phelan Feed Barn.
